Our Story
Vaughn Legacy Asset Recovery was founded from lived experience.
Several years ago, my wife and I faced significant economic challenges that ultimately led to the loss of our home. Like many families navigating difficult circumstances, we were focused on survival—staying afloat, protecting our family, and rebuilding where we could.
What we did not know at the time was that our home sold for more than the total amount owed. There were surplus funds generated from the sale—funds that, by law, may have been available to us. Access to those funds could have placed our family in a far stronger position during an already challenging period.
We never claimed them—simply because we didn’t know they existed or that we had a right to pursue them.
That experience stayed with me.
As I later learned how often surplus funds go unclaimed—held by courts or counties while families struggle—I realized this was not an isolated situation. Many property owners, heirs, and families are never told, never informed clearly, or never guided through a process that can feel complex and intimidating.
Vaughn Legacy Asset Recovery was created to change that.
Why We Do This Work
Our mission is straightforward:
to help people recover funds that are rightfully theirs—funds they may not even know exist.
We focus on education, transparency, and compliant advocacy. Every case is different, and we take the time to understand the circumstances behind each claim. We believe people should be given clear information, realistic expectations, and respectful assistance—especially during moments when financial pressure or loss has already taken a toll.
We are not driven by volume or appearances. We are driven by outcomes that make a real difference for individuals and families.
Our Commitment
We approach this work with professionalism, discipline, and respect for the legal process. Our role is to assist, coordinate, and advocate—while remaining fully compliant with applicable laws and ethical standards.
Having experienced firsthand how easily surplus funds can be overlooked, we are committed to helping others avoid the same outcome.
If you believe you may be entitled to surplus funds, or if you simply want clarity about your situation, we welcome the opportunity to provide a free, no-obligation claim review.
